John Reynolds joined the Shiny Side Up Partnership (SSUP) in 2002 to act as a spokesman for our campaign to reduce crashes involving sportsbikers. John is well-respected by riders and has been a tremendously successful rider over the last decade and more in both the World and British Superbikes Championships.

In 2002 he was the defending British Superbikes Champion and busy testing a new machine and tyres when he agreed to make our first video film Fatal Attraction - in which John tells of his lifelong involvement with bikes and racing. Shiny Side Up realises that this love for the sport is what shapes the attitude and behaviour of riders of sports and performance bikes on our roads and the film explores the passions and enthusiasms of riders who, like John, enjoy the thrill of riding a performance bike. The video was shown on a giant screen at the BSB and Grand Prix race meetings at Donington Park during the 2002 season.
